Alastair Greener FPSA is a UK generational communication expert who helps organisations bridge the generation gap in the workplace. Through keynote talks, consultancy and workshops he shows leaders and teams how each generation thinks, works and communicates, and how to turn age diversity into a strength rather than a source of friction.

A farmer's son from north Cornwall, Alastair trained in hospitality and then as an actor before spending 16 years at sea, rising to Cruise Director with Princess Cruises and Cunard and leading teams of 90 to 100 people from every generation on ships including the QE2, Queen Mary 2 and Queen Victoria. He went on to a decade as a television presenter and business journalist, interviewing more than 500 business leaders for Business Reporter with The Daily Telegraph, and founded Present Yourself, a London communication training company.

He has commissioned two pieces of original UK research on the generations, is the author of Generationally Speaking (Right Book Press, 2025), shortlisted for the Business Book Awards 2026, and hosts the fortnightly Alastair Greener Generationally Speaking podcast. He is a Fellow of the Professional Speaking Association and its National President for 2026.
